Note: Weldments and assemblies are at the 100s-level, while parts are at the 10s-level.


Once the parts are machined, welded, and assembled, the bells & whistles are up to you! Paint it, or leave it as oxidizing steel for an industrial look. The handle can be left as-is (“1” below,) shrink-taped with a couple rods packed in for an ergonomic shape (“2,”) or rotated by 90° (“3” below.)

This last option is our favorite. In order to clock the handle 90°, simply clamp the handle right at the nutcracker side to a workbench, then place a second clamp 1/3 of the way up the handle—then bend it!
